Shrikant is the practice owner and principal dentist of Crowborough Gentle Dental. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strives to provide quality treatment in a comfortable and compassionate manner. He likes treating nervous patients and puts a lot of focus on a preventative approach in his patient care. He believes in prevention, and aims to educate and empower his patients about their oral health.
He provides a range of treatments, including aesthetic restorations, straightening teeth with Invisalign, teeth whitening and composite teeth bonding treatment.
Shrikant has special interests in dental implants and holds a postgraduate degree in Dental Implantology from Cambridge academy. He has attended many courses in the UK and internationally and is a member of the ITI (International Team of oral Implantology – Switzerland).
Shrikant consistently keeps up to date with newest procedures by attending several training courses throughout the year ensuring you get the best possible dental care with the latest proven treatments. He believes in providing the latest equipment and materials, so you get the best possible service.

Jai is the owner and Principal of Crowborough Gentle Dental Practice.She graduated in India and after moving to UK, she gained her Diploma in Clinical Dental Science at University College London in 2005. She also completed Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, MFDS RCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2006 and the International Qualifying Statutory Examination in 2007.
Jai enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is a certified Invisalign provider. She is especially interested in cosmetic and minimal invasive dentistry. She has a kind and compassionate manner while dealing with nervous and dental phobic patients. She likes to improve smiles by using composite bonding and Invisalign. She constantly keeps herself updated by attending various courses and likes to focus on preventative oral health. Outside work she likes to spend time with her two kids.

Dr Melissa Baard graduated from King’s College London Dental Institute. She is a gentle, caring and meticulous dentist who always takes the time to listen to her patient’s concerns, answer any questions and do her best to put them at ease. She is passionate about providing bespoke, comfortable and minimally invasive dental care to all of her patients.
Melissa is continually learning new skills and techniques to ensure she provides her patients with the best possible care. In addition to general dentistry, she offers facial aesthetic treatments, such anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers for lips and cheeks.
In her free time Dr Melissa enjoys going to the gym, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Hazel is a highly accomplished and skilled dentist with a special interest in dental implantology and restorative dentistry. She graduated from the prestigious Complutense University of Madrid in 2013, and since then she has continued to expand her knowledge and expertise through advanced training and courses.
Dr. Hazel’s commitment to delivering the highest level of care is reflected in her use of the latest techniques and technologies to deliver minimally invasive, cosmetic, and natural-looking results. She has completed advanced courses in implantology, including a prestigious postgraduate certificate at Cambridge University, as well as an advanced postgraduate diploma by the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology. Since then, she has been able to provide hundreds of successful implants for many patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hazel is a passionate advocate for dental education and has shared her knowledge and expertise at dental study clubs and other professional events.
When she is not working with patients, Dr Hazel enjoys spending time with her two kids and husband. She is a devoted family woman and values the importance of balance between work and personal life.

Charlotte Graduated from King’s College London in 2017. Since then she has continued to expand her knowledge with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry.
Charlotte is qualified in Invisalign and SmileFast composite veneers. She has completed a ‘Totally Composite’ course with Monik Vasant and she is also starting a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in early 2022.
Her approach is friendly and relaxed, ensuring patients are comfortable in the dental setting.
In her spare time, Charlotte likes to keep active at the gym and plays hockey for the local team. She also loves long walks with her dog on the Ashdown Forest.

Dr. Roshith has done his BDS (1992-1997) and Masters’s in Oral Surgery (1997-2000). He has 24 years of experience as a Dental surgeon. Immediately after his BDS in 1997, he joined for his post-graduation in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery till 2000. He worked as a Maxillofacial surgeon in a super speciality hospital for 4 years. He then moved to Dubai in 2004 where he worked two years before moving and settling in the UK in 2005.
Dr. Roshith has worked all around the country in various NHS hospitals for five years as Senior House Officer and Staff grade. He moved to primary dental care in 2009.
He has passed ORE exams with GDC and has done MFDS and has trained in the Royal College of Surgeons of England, London for his PG Diploma in Implants in 2010 and has been placing implants since. He has a keen interest in complex All on-6 and full-mouth rehabilitation cases. He is also trained by SAAD London to perform intravenous sedation. He works exclusively as an Implant surgeon in various practices in and around London. Dr Roshith presents an Implant course on All on 6 in London. He does a lot of mentoring for his junior colleagues who are interested in implant placements over the years.

BDS, PGDip, Implantology Rosh qualified from Liverpool University in 2012. He then spent over three years doing further training in various settings, most of which were in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
During this time he passed his Royal College exams and joined the Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons of which he is still a member.
This training early in his career set a good foundation for Oral Surgery. He then spent the next few years building on these to provide complex dental implant treatment and facial aesthetics. He is also qualified to straighten teeth with clear aligners and this is a good adjunct in patients who sometimes do not have enough space for dental implants.
Rosh grew up on the island of Mombasa in Kenya and moved to Liverpool when he was 18. He is a keen hiker and did a few major peaks in East Africa including Mount Kilimanjaro. Before moving to Surrey, he lived in Pembrokeshire where he has hiked along the entire Coastal Path (the longest in the UK). In his spare time, he is a keen badminton player. He has joined a few of the local leagues and plays twice a week. He also enjoys an intense game of squash

After spending a few years in general practice, Karim returned to Guy’s Hospital and completed his Master’s Degree in Endodontics. Karim believes creating a relaxing environment for his patients is an essential factor in contributing to the best possible treatment outcome.
Karim usually sees his patients for an initial consultation visit in which he discusses various aspects of the treatment. However, this consultation appointment can be combined with treatment if it is more convenient to the patient. In house sedation can also be provided during root canal treatment if required.

Amelia has widespread experience in oral surgery, sedation and general practice after graduating in 2010 from Cardiff University with honours. Since then, she has completed time with the Sandwell Community Dental Service and the University Hospital Birmingham Maxillofacial department. She has extensive skills in oral surgery and sedation working with the Oral and Maxillofacial department in QE and Solihull Hospital for the last 10 years. Alongside this Amelia has been doing general dentistry and implants. She is reassuring, approachable and has a relaxing manner. She has further qualifications in implants, restorative dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Amelia travels down from Kenilworth in Warwickshire and outside of work loves spending time with her husband and two small boys. She also plays in Coventry City of Culture Orchestra and is part of the local community with charity work with Kenilworth Ladies Circle.

After graduating with a DDS degree from Sweden, Amir started working in the UK in 2005 and continues to update and maintain his dental skills through various courses.
He has a special interest in invisible braces, veneers, occlusion rehabilitation and smile makeovers. Amir always strives to provide minimally invasive dentistry that is as comfortable and pain-free as possible.
After work, Amir likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys travelling, when not working or on further education.

I started my career as a dental nurse and worked in different dental settings at different roles. Naturally I will always be that person, to go the extra mile to ensure all patients are looked after well.
I pride myself on being a people’s person, where I am able to listen and act on everyone’s individual needs, most importantly our patients and my team. My main goal will always be to ensure all your dental needs are met by the practice, whether it is a preventative measure or creating a beautiful smile. I have a very bubbly personality, so you’ll be sure to see my smile within the practice, if not hear my laugh!

Alison has worked within the dental industry for over 10 years. She enjoys her role working with the reception team meeting and greeting all patients to the practice and ensuring their patient journey is informed and stress free.

I really enjoy looking after patients and make sure they are comfortable during their time here at Gentle Dental. I am extremely excited about helping our patients whilst assisting with our new Laser technology which uses the Waterlase machine. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and practicing my singing. I am really into fashion and going shopping. I love spending time with my family and friends and my 4 blue merl border collies at weekends.
